Dark spots were published with recognizable dithering but overlaid text stayed understandable.

Video quality was also typical for a monochrome laser, which means it is easily great for interior business use. Still, they would not hand it to an important customer if they were attempting to convey a feeling of professionalism.

The greatest problems are obvious dithering patterns and unevenness in strong fills. On the various other hands, 1018 handles slim lines better compared to many printers.

Picture quality suffices for points such as customer e-newsletters and publishing Internet web pages, which are the jobs probably require publishing pictures on monochrome lasers.
